TUITION PAYMENTS

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of the month.  Failure to provide payment by the 10th of the month will result in a $15 late fee.  Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card.  If joining after the 1st week of the month, payments will be prorated by week (excluding Holidays).

PAYMENT POLICIES

All families are required to have a valid credit card on file for class registration. Statements are e-mailed on or about the first day of class each month. Unless prior arrangements have been made, any outstanding balance will be applied to the card on file on the 10th of the month or as noted on the monthly statement.  Any payment that is not honored by a financial institution will be considered late and will result in a $15 late fee. Any returned check will result in a $30.00 service charge. No discounts or prorated rates will be given for scheduled days off, holidays, illness, family events, or school functions. Tuition is the same for a holiday month or a month with 5 weeks. For insufficient or neglected payments, student participation will be suspended until account is settled. All registration fees, tuition, production, costume, and other payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. A receipt will be given to all payments made in cash.

 

ANNUAL PRODUCTION

Annual productions are performed once a year.  Registration in a production class will be viewed as the parents commitment to pay production and costume fees unless written notification is received at the time of registration.  Costume providers have deadlines in order to meet their ship dates.  We cannot guarantee costumes will arrive in time for the production for students registering after January 31st.  There are no refunds of  production or costume fees.  Costume providers will not cancel orders once in production.

 

WITHDRAWL

All classes require a 2 month minimum enrollment.  Students may transfer class during this time frame.  A 30-day notice is required to discontinue any class.  To withdraw from class, student’s parent /  legal guardian must inform the studio via e-mail to info@dacner-strong.com.  Withdrawal must be communicated to the office staff (not dance instructor)

 

ATTENDANCE / TARDINESS

Students who are tardy (arrive late to class) may be required to make-up classes.  A minimum attendance level is required.  If a student misses more than four classes without an official notice, student may require private lesson(s) to make-up missed classes and to be able to participate in the annual production.

 

MAKE-UPS

Students may make up missed classes by coming to the same class that meets on another day or join another class of similar style spce permitting.

 

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

It is the responsibility of the parent(s) / guardian to be aware of all studio activities, such as but not limited to: observation days, Holidays, productions, extra classes, rehearsals, dates the studio is open / closed.  Dancer Strong will post notices and information on our website, inside our facility, our Facebook page, send emails, as well as send home notices with students.  It is the parent(s) / guardian’s responsibility to inform Dancer Strong of any address, email, and phone number changes or updates.  If you are not receiving email communications please contact the studio office immediately.

 

LOBBY

All non-participating children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian while waiting in the lobby.  All non-participating children in the lobby must remain quiet and are not permitted to run or roam the halls freely.  If noise levels become disruptive, non-participating children and their accompanying adult may be asked to kindly wait outside the lobby until all participating children are finished with class.

 

CARE OF STUDENTS

Dancer  Strong regards safety as a high priority and will always guard the well-being of all students.  That said, Dancer Strong will not be held liable for post-class care of students.  Phone calls will be made to parent / guardian for students left for excessive amounts of time, and student(s) may be asked to wait in the office until parent / guardian arrives.  Please be considerate of all studio / office hours.  Parent(s) / guardian with student(s) under the age of 5 must inform their instructor before leaving the studio.  If parent / guardian does not return before the next class begins, student(s) will remain with their instructor or be asked to wait in the office, with office staff personnel.

 

RESTROOMS

Parent(s) / guardians, please allow time for your children to use the restroom before class, so not to impede instruction.  During class time / instruction students may not loiter in the restrooms and must return to class immediately after using the restrooms.

 

INJURIES

Participants, Parents, and legal guardians waive the right to any and all legal action for any injury sustained on studio property resulting from but not limited to normal activity conducted by the students before, during class, and after class time.  This also includes any and all horseplay.  Dancer Strong does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that each student be covered by their family’s insurance policy and if injury occurs, it is understood that the student’s own policy is the only source for reimbursement.

 

PHOTO / VIDEO RELEASE

Dancer Strong is hereby granted permission to take pictures and videos of the students and use for advertisement or display purposes.  Dancer Strong is herby granted permission to post pictures and videos of students on the Dancer Strong website, Facebook page and other social media platforms.
